Etsy Listing Exporter — Data to Spreadsheet · Effective 25 August 2026

Etsy Listing Exporter is a browser extension that reads listing information from the Etsy page you are viewing and turns it into spreadsheet data. Everything it does happens locally in your browser. This page describes exactly what the extension touches — and, mostly, what it doesn't.

What the extension reads

When — and only when — you click the extension's toolbar icon, it reads publicly visible listing details from the Etsy page open in your active tab: listing titles, prices and currency, shop names, listing URLs, ratings, review counts, and whether a listing is promoted or offers free shipping. It never reads any other tab, never runs in the background, and does nothing at all until you click the icon.

What happens to that data

That is the complete list. The data exists only inside the popup while it is open; when the popup closes, it is gone. The extension has no storage and keeps nothing between clicks.

What is never collected or sent

Permissions, in plain language

The extension requests activeTab (temporary access to the one tab you clicked it on — nothing else, and only after you click) and scripting (to run its page-reading code in that tab). It requests no access to any website in the background and shows no permission warnings at install.

Changes to this policy

If the extension's behaviour ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised before that version is published.
